Basic Information

A Brazilian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (Rev Bras Ginecol Obstet – ISSN 1806-9339), a monthly scientific dissemination publication from Brazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Associations (Febrasgo), is aimed at obstetricians, gynecologists and professionals in related areas, with the purpose of publishing research results on relevant topics in the field of Gynecology, Obstetrics and related areas. It is open to national and international contributions. The magazine receives submissions in the English language only.

As a vision, the Brazilian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (RBGO) intends to become an internationally recognized journal as a reference for research in Gynecology and Obstetrics (GO), becoming one of the main global journals in the specialty. RBGO should be an essential scientific vehicle for disseminating Brazilian and international scientific production and become an auxiliary reference in the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students and residents and in the scientific improvement of preceptors and researchers in GO.

RBGO’s mission is to contribute to the development of Brazilian research in GO and to become a facilitating body for the dissemination of research results that can contribute to improving women’s care and quality of life.

The Values ​​cultivated by RBGO, in its editions, will always be innovation and commitment to quality and respect for Ethics in research.
